NASIM JAVAHERI, O.D.
Dr. Nasim Javaheri received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later obtained her doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with honors.
Dr. Javaheri is an outstanding doctor with an exceptionally strong background in medical eye health and vision care. Having practiced at various VA hospitals and private practices in southern California and the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Javaheri has gained tremendous experience in management of retinal and corneal diseases as well as pediatric, geriatric vision care and “hard to fit” contact lens cases. Dr. Javaheri is a current member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington.
WANZHI LI, O.D.
Dr. Li received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science at the University of California, Irvine. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry. After acquiring comprehensive training at various clinical settings, she settled down in the Pacific Northwest where she works in private practice. Dr. Li specializes in ocular disease and dry eye treatment. She also has a strong passion in specialty contact lens fittings for irregular corneas and myopia management such as Orthokeratology and dual focus contact lenses. She is dedicated to providing personalized eye care to improve and enhance patients' vision and quality of life as well as promoting public eye health awareness to the community. Dr. Li is a member of The American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington. In her free time, she enjoys running and hiking, discovering all that the PNW has to offer.
KIRSTEN MA, O.D.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Ma received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Washington. She later attended Pacific University in Oregon where she received her Doctor of Optometry and Master in Education with a focus on functional vision in children and special education. She expanded her understanding of ocular disease and myopic control through comprehensive training in clinics spanning from Alaska to Pennsylvania. Returning to Washington, she completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and gained extensive experience in vision therapy and vision rehabilitation.
Effective vision extends beyond the sought-after 20/20 line and includes clear, single, and comfortable vision. Dr. Ma is passionate about early detection and intervention of binocular vision problems and other underlying visual needs that affect vision, as she believes the best visual success can help children and adults succeed in learning and in life.
Dr. Ma is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW), and College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). She is also a participating doctor in InfantSEE, providing vision exams free of charge to patients 6-12 months old.
In her free time she enjoys exploring nature, learning about different cuisines and cultures, and making art.
Dr. Ma is conversational in American Sign Language and well-versed in Deaf culture.
KRIZIA
Front Desk Administrator and Optometric Technician. Krizia assists patients with scheduling appointment, insurance verification and also performs pretesting as needed.
HELEN
Optometric Technician. Helen is the lead Optometric Technician in the office. With years of experience in the field of optometry, Helen is familiar with all types of optometric testing needed by the doctors.
SELENA
Optical Assistant and Front Desk Administrator. Selena is knowledgeable with insurance benefits, and assists our patients with frame and lens selection.
